When was the grand opening of the twin towers?

The twin towers were finished on the 14th march 1989. They had metal platings all over both the towers. They were sadly taken away from the heart of America on the 11th September 2001 after the 9/11 attack by Al Queda.

The south tower was finished being built on December 1970 and the north was finished on January 172. Both Twin Towers were dedicated in 1973.
