I believe they should be struts, not shocks. The only difference is where the bracket is for the brake line, the strut itself is the same.
Indonesia has had the worst and probably the most. Christchurch in NZ had a 7.1 magnitude earthquake and no one died. This was on the 4th of September. There are still after shocks going on. In Haiti it was the same and thousands of people died
