Well if you notice a pie graph is a circle and a bar graph is a graph that contains bars/rectengles that have gaps in between there statistic for example when graphed they have a gap between each bar that you displayed or recorded!

Pie Graph also sums up the data and converts its statistics to a percentage when it is out of 100% to compare each result, however the bar graph just shows the changes over a period of time by its actual tally marks or numerical numbers!

What are the differences between bar graph line graph and pie graph?

A bar graph and line graph consist of the information stored along the side and bottom lines. The difference is a bar graph goes upwards, whilst a line graph goes sidewards. A pie chart is a circle. It is called 'pie' because if you can imagine a pie with different percentages of slices cut, it would look like a pie chart. Hope this helps!

The difference between bar graphs and pie graphs?

A bar graph has verticle lines, showing different heights to denote percentages, and a pie graph is a circle cut into pie slices to denote different percentages. the difference between a bar graph and and a pie graph is a bar grpg your comparing 2 or more thing and a pie graph u use it when your doing percentengs to divide like how much u pay on house on car and all that

Why would you use a pie graph instead of a bar graph?

Pie graphs are better for percentages rather than a bar graph. Bar graphs are better for showing amounts. Less than half Also, pie tastes so much better than a bar. if u no what i mean
