A line graph basically shows it going straight up. (or a steady rate) A broken line graph will have numbers all over the place. It will be going up and down and up and down. Maybe for a example the numbers will be 10 then 50 then 2 then 100. So as you can see that graph will have lines going everywhere! hope i helped.

What is the difference between a line graph and a bar graph?

Difference between bar and line graphs:Line graph shows change in a long period of time and bar graph shows bars showing different amounts. Also a line graph is used to show change over time and a bar graph is used for comparison.

What is difference between broken line graph and continuous line graph?

A broken line graph consists of distinct segments that connect data points, often used to represent changes over time when data is not continuous or when there are gaps. In contrast, a continuous line graph features a smooth line that connects all data points, indicating a continuous relationship and providing a clearer visual representation of trends. The choice between the two often depends on the nature of the data being presented.

Broken line graph?

A broken line graph shows information by plotting points of information on the graph and are connected with a line. This is used to show continuous data.

What are the difference between a line graph and bar graph?

Bar graphs use bars and a line graph is like a scatter graph but with a straight line to see wich way the dots are going.

What is the difference between a best fit graph and a line graph?

a line graph will join all of the points yet a best fit graph will only join the dots which follow the pattern.
