To open the door, you have to turn all the squares grey by landing on it with the knight chess piece. If you land on a grey box, it'll turn back to it's original color.

You have to make the cracks line up. The top piece will be the long thin one, with the bigger crack on the right. The one below that will be the one that that looks like a "T". To the right of that is the "L" shaped one. Flip its twice so its upside down. Beside that is the "z "shaped one. And then finally, beside that is the square. Flip it so the biggest crack is on the bottom right. And voila.

Pick up the rock, use it to smash the glass case, pick up the axe, use the axe to cut the powerline, you will notice that the pattern LRRLLRLR is written in green above the door, there are 2 buttons either side of the door, press them in the pattern order, L stands for left and R stands for right.
