How do you get rid of lubber grasshoppers?

LOL good luck , I smacked one with a flat shovel , and he looked back at me and laughed they are so creepy looking

I heard hot water will get rid of them .

The way I heard it was to grab them (gloved hand for squeamish) and drown them in a bucket of bleach laced water. if this is the "easiest" solution I am glad they don't grow more than about 4 oz. A friend says they make good bait for fishing but, since they are evolved to taste bad and can squirt scram juice in your face, would you really want to eat something that ate a lubber?!?
