Kids should defecate just like everyone else -- at least once a day, and without any discomfort. Anything less is considered less than ideal.
Normal bowel movement habits can be up to three times per day. This is true for both infants and adults. However, infant bowel movements are usually much softer because of the nature of their food. Breast milk should lead to very soft poops. Infants should not have diarrhea, nor should they have formed stools.
As infants get older and solid foods are introduced, then their stools become more formed. They should never be difficult to pass or be urgent, but they will eventually take the shape of logs. They should continue to poop at least once a day.
The same is true for older kids and even adults. Deviations from this pattern that last more than a few days indicate that their digestive system is not functioning at an optimal level. This can be caused by a bacterial problem, but it is most commonly caused by the type of food that is being eaten.
For example, if infants are getting diarrhea or constipation, then they are likely reacting to the food that they are eating. This is true even if they are only breast feeding. Breast feeding babies are being exposed to the foods that the mother is eating. If one or more of those foods is a problem for the infant then it can cause diarrhea or constipation.
This problem can continue throughout life and affect the bowel movements of a child at any age, not to mention many other aspects of their health. Never assume that any one food is automatically good for your kid, regardless of what you have been told. Many infants and kids react very poorly to cow's milk products. Most infant formulas contain cow's milk, which isn't necessarily the ideal food for an infant, nor a child.
Although you should see your doctor about any problems that your kids are having when they poop, be aware that your doctor may not address the cause of problem. In most cases doctors are trained to identify and treat digestive symptoms rather than figure out exactly what caused the problem in the beginning.
You may have to experiment with your child's diet in order to sort out what foods are right for your kid. Don't be afraid to do this. You are much closer to the problem than anyone else, and you may be able to see a relationship between how you child eats and how they feel long before anyone else does.
Can you throw up your own feces?
Yes you can. I am currently having problems with my digestive tract. I've been having severe pains in my stomach for 3 weeks now. The doctors gave me an antibiotic thinking it was my kidneys but it wasn't. So now they are trying to figure out what is wrong. I have been going to the bathroom all along but x-rays showed my colon was completely full, so they decided to give me meds to flush out my system, a day later I was throwing up, it looked like no vomit i have ever seen, and it smelled like feces. I talked to my doctor and they said it was my feces. Now I am still waiting while they figure out what is causing my illness. So it is possible because i am going through it right now. I didn't realize it was possible until i saw it myself, and i have worked in the medical industry before...

Region of the thorax and abdomen is located below the stomach?
That's an oddly worded question... but the abdomen is a part of the thorax. Your abdomen is the lower half of your thorax, your chest is the upper half. Our stomachs are roughly in the middle.
If your butt is bleeding, I guess you can. I've never heard of anyone farting blood
Can you use desoximetasone on hemorrhoids?
My husband has hemorrhoids and they are very swollen, no bleeding but real swollen and he is constipated. He has recently finished up rounds of chemotherapy and radiation (head neck cancer) and I believe all the medications have caused this constipation. I have given him a mix of milk of magnesia and prune juice which seemed to loosen up the stools enough to clear out a little bit of stool.
We have some Desoximetasone Cream USP, .025% that he used on an allergic reaction to shot he was getting for radiation. I have read on the Internet that a cortisone cream would help with hemorrhoid's. Could I use this cream on his hemorrhoid's? Right now I am using the preparation H cream and suppositories and a cold ice pack applied directly to the hemorrhoid's.
Thank You for your help.

The substances will go into the many many capillaries that are around your intestines and will be absorbed into your bloodstream. The minerals that your body does not need will become excrement
This needs to be brought up with your doctor, immediately. There shouldn't be any rectal bleeding from exercising, and since you do have a history of hemmoroids, it could be that you have developed internal hemmoroids that need to be tied off with Elastic Band Ligation. If your colonoscopy was perfect, it is quite possible that you may have a small tear or rupture caused by the scope. Do see your physician, for more information.
Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori for short) was first discovered in the stomachs of patients with gastritis & stomach ulcers nearly 25 years ago by Dr Barry J. Marshall and Dr J. Robin Warren of Perth, Western Australia. At the time (1982/83) the conventional thinking was that no bacterium can live in the human stomach as the stomach produced extensive amounts of acid which was similar in strength to the acid found in a car-battery.

What is the best fruit for constipation?
Any foods high on fiber.
Something that really works is drinking a teaspoon of olive oil. It may taste nasty, but it will clear you out all in one time. Allthough, I really sugest that when you drink it you're near a bathroom and no one that can hear you...
It can get pretty disgusting!
Are hernia repair costs covered by Workman's Compensation?
Probably not. Workmen's Compensation only covers injuries which are not expected to occur normally through doing your job. So for example, if your job involves heavy lifting, then since hernias are commonly caused by heavy lifting, Workmen's Compensation probably would not cover a hernia. On the other hand, let's say you don't usually do heavy lifting at work, but a filing cabinet got tipped over by your boss trying to move it, and you reached to catch it and got a hernia, then perhaps it would be covered. Make sense?
If you want to get firm stools without becoming constipated, you should eat plenty of fiber and drink plenty of water with it.

How would you describe the small intestines to a kid?
A tube wrapped up in you to help get rid of the food your body doesn't want.
Why would you want to explain that to a kid, though?
