Absolutely in terms of Area. Big Sky Country can almost but not quite hold three Alabama's in its vast expanse. It is a US State with more cow then people. Only 6.5 people live in each square mile compared to 97.2 persons for each square mile of Alabama. When it comes to people Alabama dwarfs Montana with over four Alabamians for each Montanan.

To the south is Wyoming and to the west and southwest is Idaho. The state of Wyoming is directly south of Montana.
