Does nutmeg have to be fresh to trip?

The intoxicating qualities of nutmeg are highly overrated. Consume 2-3 tablespoons of fresh nutmeg (mixed into milk with sugar is nice) and, at some point during the evening, you will feel like you have the flu (hot and fevery), will feel slightly sick to your stomach, will have a headache, and will be unable to fall asleep. Not the effects you were seeking, I suspect. Seek your high elsewhere as this is not worth pursuing.

How do you make a nutmeg hallucinogen?

Simply ingesting large quantities (around 20g) of nutmeg would produce a hallucinogenic experience, although this practice is dangerous and often unpleasant. The primary effects of a nutmeg can last around a day, although secondary effects may linger for three days or more. Side effects include nausea, flushes, dizziness, dry mouth, accelerated heartbeat, difficulty in urination, and panic.
