I believe Ctg stands for "combat target" model. I am guessing that it has adjustable sights. Contact Smith and Wesson Through their web sight, give them the serial numbers. Customer service repaired a twenty year old model 15-3, that I purchased used, for free. I will definitely buy another S+W.

The Old West Scrounger carries this caliber. As I am sure you know, this caliber is obsolete, so a box of loaded ammunition is not inexpensive. If you wish to shoot this gun (if it's a model 94 then it was made in 1902) you should understand that it is quite valuable and should be treated accordingly. Light loads at the range would be prudent.

Without a picture or a thorough technical description of the condition, it's not possible to give an exact value. There are multiple variables also ommitted in your description, but It is likely a "Smith&Wesson Military & Police Model of 1905, 4th Change" (yep, that's a mouthful, commonly called the "M&P) that you are talking about - 4 inch barrel and square ended grips. You may have a problem there. What I find on the 90-22 is that it was intended for 22 Long only. Those may be a little hard to find. Some of the older guns are not safe to shoot with modern amunition anyway since the new stuff is a lot more powerful than it was 100 years ago. .22 cal. Winchester Rim Fire Ammunition manufactured by Winchester is available at most all quality firearms dealers. (Not at Big 5, Wal-Mart, and the like.)

Even the fastest shooting guns do not move the bullet fast enough to break the gravitational pull. Also, force is only applied to the bullet while inside the gun barrel.

The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT ADVISED. The shotgun "chamber" is the length of a breech section of larger diameter that accomodates the wall thickness of the shell (to provide a smooth transition from the interior of the expanded shell to the barrel of the gun). Although the unfired longer shell can be loaded in the shorter chamber, the crimp cannot fully open when fired... it will be pinched in the narrower barrel diameter in front of the chamber. That causes increased gas pressures during firing and could possibly damage the gun. (Newer guns should handle this slight overpressure safely but you may feel a slight increase in recoil.)

You can, however, go the other way around and safely use shells shorter than the guns chamber (eg a 12 gauge can safely use 2 3/4 inch shells in 3 inch chambers). There is some debate about the effect of this mismatch on shot pattern. Some credible long standing studies actually indicating a more uniform shot pattern from using shorter shells in longer chambers.

.30 cal rim fire (not .32, but .30 cal) has been out of production since 1917, and it is purely a collectors item. It may be possible to find a few rounds for display with an old revolver or rifle, but none of the ammo is likely to be in condition to shoot, and sells for several dollars per cartridge. You can check on line auction sites such as auctionarms.com for collectable ammunition. Ammunition must be shipped by UPS GROUND, and shipping will cost about $12 for a few cartridges.

It hasn't been loaded commercially since 1942. Some specialty companies may occasionally make a limited run, but if it can be found it will be expensive.

k first off you need the magazine in one hand facing a way from you take the bullet and push down the spring and just put in your bullet ( how to put it in:) put the bullet stright up such as: http://www.eeel.nist.gov/oles/imagesbullet.jpg ,and then push down until you don't see the casing just the bullet and push front words and your bullet should be in your magazine!

The correct bullets for a 223 WSSM are .224.

If it has a tube magazine under the barrel, the end of it probably unscrews and a spring and a plug will come out. Put it back together with out the plug and you have a 5-shot magazine. Just don't get caught hunting migratory waterfowl without the plug in place.

2. The model 15 is a K frame .38 special revolver. The 3 suffix means third change.

All K frame models from the first change onwards are rated for plus P ammunition.

As are N frame revolvers and L frame.

The plus P ammunition does reduce average service life as you might expect.
