An import quota sets a physical limit on the amount of goods that may be imported during a given period. An export quota does the same for a nation's exports.
An ape looks exactly like a monkey except that it doesn't have tail. It is known to be said that an ape is another form of a human so I am guessing that it kind of acts like a human too.
An ape looks like humans but hairier and more undeveloped.
The first fossil remains that have been found were dated around 4.4 million years ago. These were the fossils of Ardipithecus Ramidus, which lived 1 million years before the last fossils that were found.
Apes and other primates cannot be combined with a human being. The DNA is too different to provide viable or any kind of hybrid offspring.
Diane Fossey was discovered murdered in the bedroom of her cabin in Virunga Mountains, Rwanda on December 27, 1985. The last entry in her diary read:"When you realize the value of all life, you dwell less on what is past and concentrate more on the preservation of the future"
Fossey's skull had been split by a machete, a tool widely used by poachers, which she had confiscated from a poacher years earlier and hung as a decoration on the wall of her living room adjacent to her bedroom. Fossey was found dead beside her bed, with her handgun beside her and her own hair pulled out and in her hand. She was in the act of loading her weapon, but picked the wrong type of ammunition during the struggle. The cabin showed signs of a struggle as there was broken glass on the floor and tables along with other furniture overturned. All Fossey's valuables were still in the cabin - thousands of dollars in cash, travelers' checks, and photo equipment remained untouched. She was 2 metres (7 ft) away from a hole cut in the wall of the cabin on the day of her murder.
Fossey is buried at Karisoke,in a site that she herself had constructed for her dead gorilla friends. She was buried in the gorilla graveyard next to Digit, and near many gorillas killed by poachers. Memorial services were also held in New York, Washington, and California.
some do depending on how it is approachd and or messed with in any way shape or form.
Great apes are exceptionally long-lived. Wild gorillas may survive to age 35, and wild chimps live about 50 years. Great apes in captivity have been known to survive into their late fifties. The life span of gibbons is considerably shorter, probably lasting about 25 years.
Hominid - the group consisting of all modern and extinct Great Apes (that is, modern humans, chimpanzees, gorillas and orang-utans plus all their immediate ancestors).
Hominin - the group consisting of modern humans, extinct human species and all our immediate ancestors (including members of the genera Homo, Australopithecus, Paranthropus and Ardipithecus).
There are no apes that weigh over 450 pounds. The largest ape, the gorilla, has an average maximum weight of 400 pounds.
Humans keep destroying their homes, which results in food shortage... etc.
They are disappearing because of US!!!
Australopithecus is an extinct genus of Great Apes. Unlike most other Great Apes, Australopithecus could walk upright comfortably (most prefer to use both arms and legs, for balance). It also had smaller canine teeth than earlier genera.
That is kind of hard to explain in text. Try searching for it on Youtube.
A primatologist studies primates which includes both monkeys and apes.
Because it helps protect them from the sun and that's what their genetics are!!
Well, the Orangutans main threat is the destruction of the forest that they live in. Us humans are cutting down their forests and rain forests for the use of toilet paper, paper, furniture and for the space for growing palm oil. Poachers are also killing them for their meat, and selling them to zoos, and for pets.
I'm dioing a project on Orangutans so I know all about them.

There is no way of proving that man came from apes because they DID NOT come from apes i can guarentee that if you take a baby ape and watch it grow in to an adult ape then nowhere in it's lifespan will it turn into a human being ....................in the King James Version of the Bible in the book of Genesis Chapter 1 versus 25 through 28, it says: 25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26. and God said. Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27. so God created man in his own image, i the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitfull, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
REAL ANSWER: There is no debate of whether humans came from apes or not because humans ARE apes. A lot of people such as the poster above me are afraid of this idea because it threatens their personal religious beliefs. If you do some research (that excludes reading a 2000 year old mythological book written by humans who claimed they spoke to god), you'll learn of the overwhelming evidence that supports our evolution (as well as the evolution of other apes) from the family, Hominidae.
Gorillas respond to there environment because when it is summer or hot they tend to move to the nearest water source.
Gorillas are one type of ape. Other apes are chimpanzees, bonobos, orangutans, and humans. These are the Great apes. There are also lesser apes, called Gibbons.
Ape is the category in which chimps, gorillas, are gibbons are in.
Apes come in a range of sizes. The smallest of them, gibbons, can weigh only 3.9 kilograms, while an adult gorilla, the largest of apes, can weigh up to 200 kilograms. Each group of apes has a different weight range. Averaged together, they weigh around 92 kilograms high, 57 kilograms low. (This excludes unusually large and small sizes.)
