Alex Turner is the lead vocalist, guitarist and main songwriter of the band. Jamie Cook is the other lead guitarist, Nick O'Malley is the bass player and Matt Helders is the drummer. The band have four albums since 2006.

alex turner has always used a fender stratocaster and a fender mustang. Although after the release of the second album we've seen him playing different instruments such as the Gretsch Spectra Sonic and his two fender Jazzmasters.
jamie cook started playing a fender telecaster, then switched to a Gibson es 335 when appeared on tv and concerts, and recently he's been playing a Fender Starcaster, a limited edition from the seventies. :)
