What are dried sweet pepper flakes?

In the U.S. the term sweet pepper covers a wide variety of mild peppers that, like the chile, belong to the capsicum family. The best known sweet peppers are bell peppers, named for their bell-like shape. They have a mild, sweet flavor and crisp juicy flesh. When young most bell peppers are a rich, bright green, but there are also yellow, orange, purple, red and brown bell peppers. Red bell peppers are green bell peppers that have ripened longer and are very sweet. The red heart-shaped pimiento is another popular sweet pepper. Pimientos are the familiar red stuffing found in green olives. Other sweet pepper varieties include cachucha, European sweet, bull horn (thin, curved and green); Cubanelle (long, tapered, yellow to red); and sweet banana pepper (long, yellow, banana-shaped). The dried sweet pepper flakes can be purchased at many places online.

Does Dominos pizza Consider Onions and Green Peppers as extra toppings?

This question seems very stupid but I'll bite...

ANY PIZZA PLACE regardless of name will only consider these two vegetables as 1 Topping each.

If you order an Onion and Green Pepper pizza, that's a 2 Topping pizza.

If you order EXTRA of any topping, that topping will count as 2 toppings.

For example:

Extra Pepperoni. 1 serving of pepperoni and then ANOTHER serving of pepperoni. 2 Toppings total.

Extra Mushrooms and Extra Chicken. 2 servings of Mushroom and 2 servings of Chicken. 4 toppings total.

Beef with Extra Onions. 1 Serving of Beef and 2 servings of Onions.

It's hard to believe someone one hasn't flamed you for this... anyhoo.

SOME locations have what's known as 'Premium Toppings'.

What this means is that the cost of said topping is so expensive to the company at that given moment that in order to meet the profit margin, they have to add on a small upcharge (usually 25 cents) when you order a pizza with said premium topping.

Let me go ahead and answer 2 more questions you probably have:

- Light (or Lite) toppings still count as 1 topping each. You don't get out of it.

- Half and Half pizzas count as half a topping serving or portion for each half of the pizza.

You can usually mix and match your choices because... omg.. 2 halves make ONE whole.

It's sad how many customers have to be put through a math lesson over the phone.

There is no discount for ordering half a pizza with a topping and the other half with nothing.

You just don't get charged extra when you make another 'half side' topping choice.

2 halves, 1 whole.

And as always, Tip is NEVER included in the price you are quoted. I don't care what you hear unless the driver tells you they get tipped 15%-20% automatically.

One, that is stealing from the customer because a tip is up to the individual.

Two, the delivery fee does NOT go to the driver. It's a way for the company to offset the cost of paying a driver $4.00/hr in MOST states.

Always tip if you order delivery if you're happy with the service. Otherwise, get off your lazy bum and choose Carry Out instead.

You'll get your pizza faster that way if you're a known stiffer. Trust me.

What is ground red bell pepper used for?

Ground red bell pepper goes very well in stir fry. It can also be used in spaghetti sauce and other foods that call for bell pepper.

Ground yellow and orange bell peppers can also be used in these same foods as they are very close in taste to the red ones. And a mix of all three is a good choice too.

Paprika is sometimes made with ground red bell pepper and that is used in goulash, soups, stews, and other sauces. Therefore, in the absence of paprika for a recipe the ground bell pepper can be used as a substitute.

How does a sweet pepper seed look like?

A sweet pepper seed is small, typically oval or round in shape, and has a smooth, glossy surface. It is usually light tan or beige in color, with a slightly flattened appearance. The seeds are relatively thin and can vary in size, but they are generally about 0.2 to 0.3 inches long. When dried, they are hard and have a somewhat translucent quality.

Do fried green peppers onions garlic and mushrooms bring down sugar levels?

All foods contain some sugar, so eating anything in general will not "bring down" sugar levels, since you are ingesting more sugar. However once blood sugar levels are controlled, sticking to a low sugars diet will help maintain a balanced blood sugar level. Green peppers, onions, garlic and mushrooms are all fairly low in sugars so should not cause any problems with your blood sugar levels.

Addendum:If you want to know the truth about glucose levels, ask a diabetic. That being said, a number of matters must be considered. Peppers and onions are vegetables, vegetables equal carbohydrates (which convert to glucose in the human body), and depending on the type or variety of mushroom and the preparation, carbohydrates could be a serious consideration. Food for thought:

Sweet bell peppers carbs & sugar: (one medium sized pepper)

Carbohydrates = 7.5 grams (not bad especially considering that 2.8g of this is dietary fiber)

Sugars = 4g (not great)

Onions Carbohydrates and Sugars: (one medium)

Carbohydrate = 10.15 gm (still not terrible especially when 1.4g is dietary fiber)

Sugars (Glucose, Fructose, Sucrose) = 4.73 gm (again, not great)

Mushrooms Carbohydrates and Sugars: 100g

This varies greatly between varieties and preparation. Drying concentrates carbs and sugars.

(Cooked Shitake) Carbohydrates = 14.28g

(Dried Shitake) Carbohydrates = 75.37g
