Underneath the Z4 Roadster, there is a protecting cover.
The oil sump plug/bolt is underneath the small cover which is about 8in x 8in wide. which you will need to unscrew with a Phillips screwdriver.
The bolt is immediatley in front. 17mm
It's very simple and well worth the 30 minutes it takes to complete the oil change.
