His bandmates were supposed to fly with him (Holly chartered an airplane because he was tired of riding in a bus, whose heater kept breaking down), but the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens persuaded them to give up their seats.
NO to the above. J.P. Richarson (The Big Bopper) was ill and was Buddy's first choice to go with him. The other person was supposed to be Tommy Allsup (Buddy's band member and friend) but at the last moment flipped a coin with Ritchie who "won" the seat. (The movie shows the coin toss between Waylon Jennings and Ritchie)
The Big Bopper (Jape "JP" Richardson) and Ritchie Valens.
There are stories stating that she was pregnant when he left for the Winter Dance Party in January of '59 and she miscarried a few days after he died in the plane crash. Other than that, no other living children came from the marriage between them.
Buddy holly doesnt have a child..his wife lost there baby shortly after his death in 1959
i don't know.no
She was 25 when they married
The song "True Love Ways" was written by Holly about his wife, Maria Elena, and recorded in her presence on October 21, 1958 at Decca's Pythian Temple.
To the best of my knowledge Buddy Holly did not have a daughter; infact he had no children at all.
In Philip Norman's biography 'Buddy', on page 157, is a rumor that Buddy did get a Lubbock, Texas girl preganant. The girl was moved away to have the child which was then given up for adoption, this has never been confirmed.
Buddy's wife, Maria Elena was pregnant at the time of his death but apparently lost the baby after the stress of hearing of Buddy's accident.
So, apparently no children.
This question is difficult to answer. Several factors make a record valuable with collectors. One is how rare the record was-- if it was widely available, it probably won't be worth much to collectors. Another is what condition the record is in-- if it's not in good condition, that will affect its value. And a third is whether it is autographed by the performer, or is in some way unique. The best thing to do is go over to a site like eBay and see how much these particular LPs are being sold for; that may give you some idea of what the value is.

Buddy Holly died on February 3 1959 on a plane crash. He was on his way back from a gig in Iowa and the weather was stormy. Along with him and his bandmates, Ritchie Valens and J.P. Richardson also died in that plane crash. The song 'American Pie' by Don McLean was written about this. "The Day the Music Died." (we learned this in Mr. Ordini's 4th and 2nd period English class)
The phone number of the Buddy Holly Center is: 806-775-3560.
Holly Robinson Peete is 52 years old (birthdate: September 18, 1964).
