Rachel Ray's mother managed restaurants so she was exposed at an early age. Her first cooking job was working for Agata & Valentina, a specialty foods store. She later managed apub and then worked for Cowan & Lobel, a gourmet market. Her she gave people lessons on how to cook in 30 minutes.

I have seen on e news that Rachel is not getting divorced. She even had her husband appear on her show that same week and they looked quite happy so if you're a Rachel fan i don't think you have anything to worry about.

I believe she lives in the Pacific Palisades, in Los Angeles...it's an upscale neighborhood, close to the ocean and near Bel Air, Brentwood, Malibu, etc.

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck opened the restaurant Five Sixty in January 2009. The name of the restaurant is named after the location of the restaurant which is located 560 feet above ground. The fare is Asian fusion highlighting Chinese, Japanese & Thai influenced dishes.

They actually asked this question from him in an interview and he responded by saying he was a really bad student and didn't want to do his work. That is why he was kicked out of school. He got actually kicked out of high school *three* times!!

He was a "really bad high school student."

"I was registered in high school, but I didn't do any work. And sometimes, I wasn't even there. Actually, a lot of times I wasn't there," he said. "We used to have this rule, my friends and I … if it was too crowded to get on the first subway, we went to breakfast. And maybe that was the beginning of my food career, a Greek diner in New York."

After getting thrown out of three high schools, Flay earned an equivalency diploma.

You have to tell me which high school you're talking about, because I either dropped out or got thrown out of a couple of them. I was not a good high school student. I'm actually a graduate of the City of New York, because I got my high school equivalency diploma. I just had no interest in doing schoolwork, period. There was no magic to it. It just wasn't the way I wanted to learn.

i would say close to 1 billion Seems very high. Her books, while best sellers, are still only cookbooks and by comparison to, say, a best selling novel, are very low sellers. Also, the food network isn't exactly CBS, ABC or NBC. The rates they charge for ads are far less, hence, revenues are far less for shows. She also has the magazine and talk show, which could be big money generators, but at this time, she is not exactly hitting the cover off the ball with them either.
