It depends! If you are talking the NCAA Final Four, then no. If you are talking about stadiums on campus (i.e., Northwestern), also no. But, where Big East teams play in non-campus stadiums (Marquett, DePaul, and UConn), then "Yes, you can have a beer!

The University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) defeated Duke University in the 1990 NCAA Men's National Championship game. UNLV "Runnin' Rebels" boasted a high-powered offense coached by Jerry Tarkanian and led by future NBA prospects Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon and Greg Anthony.

Candace Parker plays for the Los Angeles Sparks. She plays with the well-known Lisa Leslie, who is known for being the only person to dunk in a WNBA game. Parker put down two dunks in a game last year, the first time ever in the WNBA. Candace Parker also played in the 2008 summer olympics, and took home a gold. Leslie was on this team too, which makes her a four-time olympic gold medal winner. She is retiring after this next season, leaving the team to Parker. Parker played for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers last year, and they won the championship. Parker helped the Lady Vols to become popular. She also contributed in a way to coach Pat Summit's 1000 career wins, which she got this season, making her the first coach in NCAA history to get that many wins.

No. In fact, they have never met in any round of the NCAA Tournament. The closest this came to happening was when both teams reached the Final Four in 1991. Duke upset defending champ, heavily-favored and previously undefeated UNLV to earn the berth in the finals (avenging a humiliating loss in the finals the previous year); however, UNC was upended by Kansas (with UNC alum, former Tar Heels assistant and future head coach Roy Williams at the helm). Duke went on to defeat the Jayhawks for the championship.

The program has enjoyed considerable national success, having been selected Helms Foundation National Champions in 1922 and 1923, winning NCAA national championships in 1952, 1988, and 2008, playing in 13 Final Fours, and being regularly ranked in the AP Top 25 college basketball poll.
