seriously? depends on the company , I make 550 a week for a mandatory 50 hour work wek and must be on call and available 24/7 and I still don't make a penny more. I average about 60 hours a week.

Liquidating assets from India, and investing funds in businesses- usually convenience stores, due to their high profit margins. (Gas stations only make 1 cent per gallon, by the way)

It also comes down to people lacking patience and a hard work ethic - owners often work 12-18 hours per day/7 days a week depending on store, and have to work hard and save up for years prior to even thinking of owning a business. You won't find that much in American culture where weekends, vacations and luxuries are valued higher.
