What is the flight time from Minneapolis to Costa Rica?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

There are no direct (nonstop) flights offered by now (Feb 2008) to CR. But the shortest one stop flight I could find takes about 7:58 hours total. It includes a layover of 1h 20 min. It goes through Houston. You may find it interesting that it takes less to fly from Houston (IAH) to Costa Rica (SJO) [2h 43 min] than from Houston (IAH) to MN (MSP) [3h 55min]

Do they have leopards in Costa Rica?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

There are no jaguars in Costa Rica, there might be very few Pumas or small wild cats but you would have to a very very deep and isolated area in the jungle to maybe see one if your lucky.

there absolutely are Jaguars in Costa Rica, in fact the Corcovado National Park (near Panama in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica) has one of the highest populations of Jaguars per square kilometer in the world (even higher than the Amazon by some estimates)

Jaguars can also be found in the Parque Internacional La Amistad (shared with Panama) and in La Selva Biological Reserve (among others)
