Mary Alice Young narrates Desperate Housewives. She used to live on the street but commited suicide in the first episode of season 1. Mary Alice is played by Mary Alice Young. In one episode shortly after Rex Van De Kamp (Bree's first husband) died, He narrated one episode, but after that it went back to normal with every episode being narrated by Mary Alice Young.
Hope this helped.x
It is a fictional state. The license plates show "The Eagle State." We are told that their state does not support the "Death Penalty." The city is Fairview, and they live on Wisteria Lane. It is also a community property state. I know it is not in Washington, or Illinios because they mention those cities where they travel to. It also rarely ever rains where they are.
The first ever episode of Desperate Housewives ("Pilot") premiered on 3rd October 2004 in the USA.
there is approximatly between 20 and 24 episodes per season, there has been six seasons so far.
Nora dies by a shot. (Nora is the ex-wife of lynettes husband)
In "The Pain in the Heart," the final episode of Season 3, Zack receives third-degree burns and massive tissue damage (the cartilage on his left hand was destroyed, among other things) on both hands after an explosion in the lab. It is later revealed he was working as the apprentice of The Gormogon, and the explosion was designed as a distraction so the Gormogon could break into the lab and steal a skeleton. Zack's weaker personality was manipulated by the Gormogon (whom he referred to as "the Master") so completely Zack believed his belief system irrefutable, even going so far as to kill a lobbyist and dividing his bones among the Jeffersonian's storage units. However, Zack still maintained a loyalty to his friends, willing to injure himself to keep Hodgins safe, and giving up the location of Gormogon's house.
Im sure im not the only one who would stop watching the show if any of the housewifes die.
I think Marc cherry would be making a VERY big mistake killing off one of the five housewives- The show is about them so therefore without all five the show wouldn't be worth watching, especially without Lynette- She ma fav lol!!!
Im a massive fan and addicted to desperate housewives and even me who watches the DVD's everyday and counts the days until the next season starts would stop watching :(! Sad but TRUE!!
KEEP THEM ALL ALIVE!!!!
NO NONE OF THE MAIN FOUR CHARACTERS DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Desperate Housewives is about 4 friends who each have different problems with their lifes or relationships, but when they meet up they pretend nothings wrong. Each year there is a dark mystery. Characters are murdered and commit suicide. Alcoholic parents abuse there children, husbands kill their wives, and teenagers abuse drugs. This murderous soap opera is rated TV PG and TV14 depending on the content of each episode. Parents need to know: this show contains adult content such as drug and alcohol abuse.
Some of the funniest Desperate Housewives quotes are: "Sometimes evil drives a mini-van."- Mr. Shaw, "You know what they say- ugly plus money equals handsome!"- Renee Perry
The seventh season of the series Scrubs only contains 11 episodes on the DVD. It was originally ment to have 18 episodes, but due to the Writers Guild of America strike 7 episodes were not written. The seventh season was also the last season that aired on NBC, and supposedly the final season. But ABC picked up the series and continued for another 2 seasons.
It is Susan. If you go to the information about Desperate Housewives on imdb and to season 5 and it specifies very clearly that he marries Susan not Katherine, so it seems very conclusive that he eventually chose Susan. Hope that helps.

"Desperate Housewives" was canceled in 2012.
It means that when people get into trouble, for example financial trouble, they may be "backed into a corner" and feel forced to do things they wouldn't normally do in terms of survival.
For example, suppose that you get lost in the woods. After a few days without food, you become desperate for a meal, and so you may find yourself eating plants, bugs, animals, fungus, etc. that you wouldn't normally eat just to survive. This portrays the meaning of the phrase "desperate times call for desperate measures" - the desperate time, or desperate situation, is that you are stuck in a forest without any normal food or means of obtaining such food; the desperate measure is the action plan you follow, namely, to eat anything that is edible until you can afford to eat normally again (i.e., when you find your way out of the woods).
No one knows who first said this - it is just a proverb that has passed down to modern times.
