You unlock the rare orbs in Donkey Kong Country Returns by getting all the K-O-N-G letters in a world. A temple will open up. This is challenging, but you are not rewarded with a Reward Barrel at the end. You get a Rare Orb. If you defeat Tiki Tong and have collected ALL 8 of the rare orbs, you can go into a bonus level called Golden Temple. It is an ultimate test of your skills and includes two new enemies, Tiki Seekers and Kowalees. Tiki Seekers come out of dark holes in the sky and fires a projectile at you, so if you see one, prepare to dodge! Kowalees throw bombs at you, just throw them back and the deed is done. You cannot defeat Tiki Seekers. When you defeat the Golden Temple, you will find that the Reward Barrel is stuck on one picture: a banana mirror. You will unlock Mirror Mode by collecting it. You can get 200% by beating all of the levels in Mirror Mode.

Hold down A to increase height and use the Control Stick to move around.
