of course you can! I asked the ladies at the Home Depot the same question and they said that there is no difference.

Interior wall paints come in many different gloss levels. The higher the gloss level (shinier) the harder the cured surface is.
Flat and eggshell paints would not be suitable for furniture as they would scuff, mark, and collect dirt, making the effort you put into painting the chest of drawers a bit of a waste of time.
If you want to paint furniture, semi-gloss or high-gloss are your best choices, however, I have used satin finish to good effect in an adult's bedroom.
It is just as important, to make sure the furniture has been prepared correctly or the top coat can chip or peel.
To do this:
Remove the hardware (handles etc) from the drawers and remove the drawers from the chest.
Sand all of the surface to be painted.
Check the surfaces for damage and repair any cracks with a good quality wood filler, and sand the repaired areas.
Run a tack-cloth over all of the sanded areas (this removes the dust making the adhesion better.
Apply a good quality primer to all of the surfaces.
Allow the primer to dry and paint with your top coat.
Once the paint has dried, reinstall the hardware, return the drawers to the chest and enjoy your newly painted chest of drawers.

If it is ,man made surface, like plasic, that won't damage easily, I would suggest WD40. However, DO NOT use on wood, or any surface that you are even slightly worry will get damaged.
If WD40 Is impracticable, I would suggest using warm, soapy water, and a nylon scouring pad.

yes, it is. every drawer has a handle. it dosent matter wether it opens or not but for one thing i know it would look really weird without one!!! :) hope this helped!
