sit in a chair and ask your friend to walk around you repeatedly, I recommend you do it fast because it starts to burn. Good luck!
Masking tape, also used as sticky tape, has many purposes. It is most useful when painting, to mask off areas which are not to be painted. It is very useful for this purpose as it can be removed without harming the surface to which it was applied.
Yes it will, I suggest getting the Krylon brand of spray paint but any brand is fine as long as it say non-porous on the label on the back. The only downside to spray painting duct tape is that it will take a little longer to dry.
you can stick things together with it! fix a ripped paper, make something stay in place, or hang something on your wall with it. if you think you talk to much you can even put some over your mouth!
It depends what you are using it for. -I can think of things duct tape will be excellent for, and I can think of other things that hot glue would be better for.
It doesn't seem like it would be sinful, but there are definitely more meaningful and useful ways to combat boredom. Taking a walk, reading a book, helping others, and exercising are some suggestions.
Place the unit on a protected surface and spray away! You will need a paint that doesn't react with the rubber/vinyl and adhesive of the duct tape. Cardboard will absorb a lot of paint, so be patient and use several light coats rather than one heavy one. Because both are pretty flexible, it will be hard to prevent flaking and cracking on the materials.
The best use is the one it was invented for: sealing air conditioning and heating ducts. But duct tape can also be used for strengthening, decoration, or both.
It might have neon duct tape, if not, I would try Wal-Mart.
A wrist brace can be mad of any type of material that is able to keep the wrist from moving. Duct tape and a piece of wood taped to the wrist can be used to make a wrist brace, if someone is unable to visit a hospital and get a proper one.
Just get a straw of a brand new pencil, and get some green duct tape and wrap duct tape around your straw your going to want to get a piece tats a little bit longer than your straw. Then get your favorite color of duct tape and rip off a piece about 3" long and then fold the two top corners to where it looks kind of like a sailor hat then just fold the sticky part around the tip of the straw and it kind of forms a bud for the middle, just keep on doing that around it and you have yourself a rose!

It is pronounced duct tape, but people say it so fast it sounds like duck tape. Originally duct tape was used for taping ductwork together. This is used in the air conditioning systems in most buildings. Duct tape was strong enough and flexible for the job. Later, it was used for almost anything imaginable, from canoe repair to fixing the Apollo 13 spacecraft. Duck tape was manufactured later by an Australian company. There was even a book on the alternative uses of duct tape in everyday life. Its also called 100 mph tape by the military. The airline industry has made some improvements, now making a 600 mph tape. See the related links for more information.
Although the term more commonly used is "Duct Tape", either is an acceptable term. Duck Tape is also a Brand name in some countries. Duct tape was originally created during World War Two, when soldiers needed a waterproof means to keep moisture out of ammunition cases. They soon found how versatile the tape was and put it to many other uses, including fixing tents, repairing clothing, fixing guns and other equipment, and a whole host of other things. It was said that the name "Duck Tape" was given due to the tapes ability to shed water much like a duck's plumage does. When the war was over and the soldiers returned home, even more uses for the tape were discovered, particular with reference to repairing heating and air ducts. The colour was changed from army green to silver along with the name, giving birth to Duct Tape we know today. Others suggest that the original name is derived from its resemblance to cotton duck, a non-adhesive canvas like material made from woven cotton fabric. It is thought that as both were used for so many things, and that they both came in strips, the name was carried over to the new adhesive product. The Oxford English Dictionary states the term Duck Tape may precede Duct tape, and cites a quotation from 1902 for "100,000 yards of cotton duck tape" to be used to protect the cables of the Brooklyn Bridge. This sets a precedence for the term and gives a basis for which the new adhesive could have derived its name. Other say that the original term was "duct tape" since there exists documentation using the term that pre-dates any for the term duck tape being used for the adhesive backed product.
It is also said that as there is no written evidence to support the WWII story that its origins of the duck tape name can be called into disrepute. Some supporters of this view accept that the earlier non adhesive product was known as "duck tape", but claim that people have just confused the similar pronunciation of the two terms. They suggest that the birth of the Duck Tape name during the war is nothing more that a quaint folklore and is a fabrication of the truth. Which term was first used will probably never really be known, but whether it was originally called "duck tape" or "duct tape" is of little consequence, as both names are now acceptable terms for the same product.
Its duct tape, designed to be used to tape air ducts in heating and cooling systems.
Most superstores such as Meijers, Krogers, and especially Walmart. Most craft stores and hobby stores such as Jo Ann Fabrics or Hobby Lobby will also carry colored duct tape. Some drugstores, such as walgreens, may also carry colored duct tape.
get three pieces of duct tape, fold each in half hot dog style (so they're long not short), then get a small piece of duct tape and tape the other three pieces to a table so that they're hanging off of it. Now braid!
Its Simple. First Wash it. Then after its been washed get finger nail polish remover and scrub at the duct tape adhesive with a wash cloth. It should come off after 2 or 3 minutes of scrubbing.
ANS 2 -Better if the other way round. Scrub lightly with acetone first, spray with 'Shout' leave 10 minutes then wash in Hot water.
Go to Hobby Lobby. Buy 1" elastic band and 1/2" elastic band. Get some snap fasteners and some metal o rings. Use the 1" for the top of the harness, you will need her to let you measure it around her waist, so that it will be snug. Make loops around the o ring that you need and fasten it with the snap fasteners. Then try it again and measure the length of the under straps (1/2" elastic band). Connect the smaller under bands to the o ring and leave them long. I used 2 bands, but you could use 1 band. Then while still on, pull the small straps back to the hips and mark a spot on larger band to connect to. Connect small bands or band to larger band with snap connectors. Test fit. If that is okay, then if you need a pad, either buy something soft or use something around the house. We have used sock, padding, panties, etc. Cheap and really easy. No sewing required. Hope this helps. B
You can make pretty much anything out of duct tape.
For example you can make:
Just be aware that it's glue will lose adherence if it gets too hot.

First thing is to get duct tape. Then you rap the back side of the duct tape around your hand and then do that again but on the sticky side rap the sticky around the sticky side that on the outside of you fingers. And there you go.
Duct tape is an extremely strong tape that is actually composed of three layers:
Layer 1: A Resilient Plastic
Layer 2: A Fabric Mesh
Layer 3: Rubber Based Adhesive
Duct tape is manufactured by pressing the three layers together. "Now, some manufacturers have created a process that makes the same strong, three layer tape in just one step. While there are stronger tapes (like filament tape), duct tape, when doubled over onto itself can pull a 2000 lb. car out of a ditch, and has the distinct benefit of not requiring any other tools to cut it - you just rip it with your bare hands." These words come from the Duct Tape Guys, who spend all of their lives (for the most part) writing books about duct tape, managing their duct tape website, and using duct tape. Did you know that in California, in order for it to be called "duct tape", the tape must meet a certain heat resistance standards. This is because people assume that people will want to use it on ductwork. However, duct tape has many other uses. I, for instance, make things out of colored duct tape such as wallets and picture frames.
