The band, Earth, Wind & Fire was founded by Maurice White in Chicago, IL in 1969. They were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame with 60 Grammy nominations. They have sold over 90,000,000 albums over the course of their career. They have also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH.

Um, yeah. He's currently on his second marriage to former EWF backup singer, Krystal Bailey (nee "Johnson"). He and Krystal have two children, and he has several older/adult children from his first wife.
