My guess is that at the turn of the century the best light system on the market for your bicycle was a company called PHOEBUS. The generator and the light were Swiss made. These were high quality and were embossed with the name PHOEBUS. So why not name your bike Mr. Phoebus if you were the only one on the block that owned one..Cheers
