Yes they were a Christian band and still are, they used to go by the name Passerby and they started out in Bell County mainly Temple, Tx

They probably received a "divine inspiration" so to speak. Lacey's said that she receives her inspiration from the Lord.

No one knows for sure but it's a guy Lacey (the singer) used to babysit.

A reason why their songs could sound emo to fans, is because Flyleaf is crying out to God in their songs. Christian rock has that type of feel.

NO!!! She first did drugs when she was 10, then 13-16, but what people don't know is she continued to do them even after she found God... She would say that God will forgive her sins... But she doesn't do them now... If she did she wouldn't be able to perform the way she does... Which is awesome!!! :)

Lacey Mosley stated that All Around me is a song about when you meet God. God is a living word, so God can be found everywhere. The lines 'my tongue dances behind me lips for you' means to be communicating with God, to have conscious contact with Him.
