What does histogram mean in math?
A histogram is a graph, kind of like a cousin to the bar graph. A histogram has no spaces between it's bars, and the intervals on the horizontal axis are equal.
For example, if you take a survey and ask how many times you went to the movies each year, people wouldn't know the exact amount they went, so you would give them choices, such as 0-10, 11-20, 21-30, and 31+. So people wouldn't have to give the exact answer, just a rough estimate. And along the vertical axis you would have the number of people per bar depending on how many times they went to the movies.
I hope this helped
Is a line graph the same as a trend graph?
No. Generally speaking, a trend graph has time on the horizontal axis. That is not always the case with line graphs.
Why would you use a vertical bar graph rather than a horizontal bar graph?
No particular reason. They are equally effective.
How is a double bar graph useful?
What do double line graphs do?
They show a comparison between the two graphs. They can show the intersection of the two graphs.
What can you do to a slice of a 3d pie chart to make it stand out from the rest?
You can explode it, meaning bringing it away from the rest of the pie. You could also make it a very different colour or pattern compared to the other slices.
What does a pie graph look like for 70 percent of 100 percent?
It looks like a 70% full pie graph. Cant really illustrate it here.

When would a bar graph be used?
A bar graph could be used in Math,Car company (How much cars u sold each month).
How a bar graph is different from a chart?
A bar graph shows statistics in a horizontal and vertical way so that it is easy to compare one year from the next or one month to the next. A chart, is usually either a circle divided into segments or a group of dots connected by lines. It is harder to compare data on a chart.
How do you draw straight line graphs of the form y equals mx plus c?

What does the medical symbol that looks like a pie chart mean?

Why is using a table easier than using a bar graph?

Also, you can't put your beer down on a bar graph :-)
