Both of my eardrums are perforated after an gromits operation when i was about 10. Now aged 17 and after many years of listening to music on full volume through earphones/headphones it has not effected my hearing. The only issue i have is an aching in my more affected ear after a while of constant loud noise while using earphones, say when watching a film with no breaks. I'd wear them but keep the volume down if it causes discomfort.

You can try getting an FM transmitter. You can find them cheap on EBay (you get the quality you pay for. Cheaper transmitters have smaller broadcast range.)
With an FM transmitter plugged into your headphone jack on your car tv (I'm assuming it has one) you can tune your headphone radio into your transmitters broadcasting frequency, and there ya go. You could then connect many at once.

Take off the ear pad. Remove three screws holding the driver mounting, once that's off remove three screws holding the black cap on the back of the earpiece (the part with "Equation " on it). The speaker wires are fed in though a lug on each ear piece so you'll have to unsolder a wire depending on whether you're repairing the left of right earpiece. Remove all screws from the three black plastic housings on each side. Be careful, there is a spring and a small plastic plate under the main swivel joint. Once you have the housings removed you'll see a plastic cap piece under each "leg" going to the earpieces, remove that and you'll see the wire channel.

Make any wiring repair necessary and re assemble. As with any headphone wiring the resin will need to be scraped off the wire before soldering is possible. The ear pad stretches over the earpiece and the thin rubber rim slots into the edge of the earpiece.

Go into settings. The should be an function that is Bluetooth. Turn it on. Make sure your headphones are charged and when they are you need to pair them to the Bluetooth function. Make sure you are on Bluetooth, turn on the headphones, and the power light should start to blink. Your tablet will tell you it is searching for the Bluetooth and then tell you it is pairing. A number may come up and to finish pairing you input the number. The headphones should show up in the Bluetooth settings as paired. You may have to do this procedure one or two times before pairing is complete. Not all items pair the first time.

3 hours straight is not good but it won't ruin your ears. Try not to listen to headphones all day. This will hurt your ears.
