I went to Honda to have an oil change and they told me that I needed to have the cabin filter changed out and they wanted to charge me 100.00 bucks, I told them no way. Here is all you need to do I just changed my AC filter out yesterday.

The part is at Advance auto parts cost 15.00 bucks.

Open your Glove box there are 2 levers on the inside of the glove box, you need to pop them out from the side of the glove box there fore removing the stoppers that stop your glove box from opening all the way. Once you do that the glove box will completely open all the way down, then you will be looking at a rectangular box with 2 tabs on the sides push the tabs inwards and slide out the try, the AC or Cabin Filter is sitting inside that tray change it out then put the levers back in and close your glove box. You rae done it should take you all of 2 minutes to change out. Good Luck, there is a drawing that comes with the filter when you purchase it.

This is also just as easy for a Honda civic 2007...the only difference is that you open the glove box, slightly compress both outer sides of glove box and it will open forward. Once open you will see "air flow" note to the sides of this plactic piece two levers to compress...doing this will allow you to pull out the air filter case...pop the old air filter out, replace the new one (noting the prober direction for air flow...and your done. Seriously two minutes for a 69.00 charge you will get at the dealer...also, airfilter ony cost 15-20 dollars.

There are several lift kits for the Honda Ridgeline. Rancho, Truxxx and Skyjacker all make a lift kit for the Ridgeline that will lift it about 2" in the front and back. The main difference in the kits is how they are made and what is included. The Skyjacker kit comes with front and rear spacers (as they all do) but neither it nor the Rancho kit come with new sway bar links to account for the change in suspension height. Many people cut and weld the sway bar links to make them the right size. The Truxxx kit comes with new OEM style sway bar links that are the right size so that cutting is not needed. Another difference is the use of studs or bolts. The design of the Ridgeline front suspension makes it difficult to install the supplied bolts into the truck because the installer needs to put the bolts in from underneath the truck and simultaneously hold the strut in place. Skyjacker and Rancho both use bolts. The Truxxx kit uses pressed in studs that are similar to the factory method and this saves a lot of hassle when installing the kit in the front. It is interesting to note that the Honda company used the Truxxx kit on their own show truck for use during the motocross races.

no there is not a 4" lift kit being made or in the future looked at, the suspension would have to be tweaked some cutting would have to be done for it to work properly not even sure if the axle shaft joints could take the angles without tearing apart or grinding up, there are a couple of company's that make a 2 inch kit that works ok meaning the ridgeline was not meant to go the places the fj cruiser or jeep wrangler was but it is comparable to the jeep commander or ford explorer sport trac in off road capabilities
