Released in 2010, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is a Playstaion Portable game that explains of the events occurring approximately 10 years before the action the original Kingdom Hearts. With three playable characters with three different destinies, one must play all three paths to complete the entire story line.

The main protagonists of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep are Terra, Aqua and Ventus; three entirely new characters.
Supposedly Kingdom Hearts III is going to come out in the United States in Spring of 2010, along with a prequal to the original Kingdom Hearts, Birth By Sleep. Birth By Sleep is said to take place 10 years before the original KH. The main characters will be Terra, Ven, and Aqua. Ven appears to look quite a bit like Roxas from KH II. in KH II, we learn that Roxas is a nobody, so BBS may elaborate into this. KH III is coming out for the PlayStation 3, BBS is coming out, supposedly for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). KH III, from what I've heard, is going to take place after KH II. KH III and BBS are schedualed to come out in Japan in December of 2009.
