I think you are referring to the one obtained by a challenge in the Mirage Arena. Play as Terra, go to the Mirage Arena and do some of the first battle stages. After a few you will get the report.

there isn't actually a kingdom hearts 3 not in japan either. soon there will other kingdom hearts games in America but squaresoft enix is still debating over making kingdom hearts 3 which would continue soras story while the other games will not. one will start a new story and the other will allow you to play as roxas and see what happened in the year sora was asleep. also if you havent already buy kingdom hearts chain of memeories for the ps2. once you beat it as sora you get to play it as riku from his part of the story.

It would appear that Sora is, indeed, the stronger of the two.

Despite protest that Riku is more 'muscled' then Sora, one must note that Sora has shown himself to be able to cut through entire buildings duing his fight with Xemnas, be able to use powerful types of magic, defeat powerful foes such as Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, and Leon on his own, along with Sephiroth singlehandedly, defeat incredibly powerful opponents, even gods for instance (Hades and Chernabog), and many other strange, thought-impossible, and incredible feats throughout his adventures.

My guess is that, while it is unlikely that they will fight with the intent to kill the other after the KH2 ending, Sora would the victor over the two. 'Bigger muscles' don't mean squat in anime, manga, or Japanese games.

I think that they both are pretty equal. Sora is the keyblade wielder, but that is only because he chose light over darkness. But Riku couldn't beat Roxas without Ansem, and Roxas is part Sora. In Kingdom Hearts 1 when they were kids Riku always won, but Sora gained so much power during his journeys as well as Riku. I'm going with Sora.

I'm a different person from the one who first submitted the above answer, but I think Riku is stronger than Sora. In Kingdom Hearts CoM (Chain of Memories) Riku's jump is higher, he is faster, and he defeats his enemies more easily than Sora. Yes, Sora has gotten stronger throughout the course of the games, but I think that Riku is the stronger one.

KHCM show that in there default form,Riku is far stronger than Sora.Roxas after a year of of fighting in OXIII was stronger than Riku. Since Roxas combined with Sora afterwards...you can guess that Sora now have Roxas abilities as well. With that Sora is decisively stronger than Riku

Synch blade is not a obtainable ability in Kingdom Hearts 2.You can only use Synch Blade while in Valor Form, Master Form, and Final Form.
Synch Blade, is an ability only available to Valor, Master and Final Form. You can however find a cheat code from GameShark, Codebreakers or Action Replay MAX, that will allow to get two blades.
you cant get synch blade for normal sora the only time you can use it is when either your in a drive or when you fight axel as roxas at the begining of the game,so unless you have final mix + then im sorry to say that you cant. p.s to get in final mix you have to get level 99 when you choose the staff shaped struggle sword and in dive to heart use the shield

With Birth By Sleep being a spin off of the original main story, I would assume the Square Enix incorporates more effort into Kingdom Hearts 2, therefore making it a better game that is more preferable and enjoyable.

You can obtain abilities like Second Chance and Once More by melding commands, using the Pulsing Crystal. Just keep experimenting with different combinations until you receive the abilities that you desire. Good luck!

Roxas and Ven are the same people, at the end of birth by sleep Ven asked Sora if he could keep his heart in Sora. So throughout all the other kingdom hearts games that Sora was in Ven was inside of him (just like Kairi in the first game). when he became a heartless, and a nobody ven's heart became Roxas.
