You take the item you wish to reserve to costomer service and ask them to hold it for you, just like if you were to reserve something anywhere else. Then, whenever you need to get it, you pick it up and pay for it. I am pretty sure there is a basic fee though, just for putting something on layaway, but im not 100% sure.
