No. You will more than likely need to wet your hair for the kool-aid to saturate to coat the surface of your hair.

However I recommend going to a beauty suppply and purchasing a rinse which will nourish your hair while coloring and the color is temporary,which means it last from shampoo to shampoo. Probably not the best idea considering Kool-Aid wasn't meant for that purpose. Purchasing regular hair dye would be a lot less risky.

yes, but you will have to boil 2 cups of water and mix as many packets to reach the darkness you want. The only bad thing is the boiling water which damages your hair because of the heat. Although, i would recommend it.

5 cups per the number of people drinking the koolaid, if its just you 5 cups should be fine if for a family of 4 I would put 20 cups of sugar you just add water at the end and you should have it perfect
