Open a command prompt (you will need to be running as an administrator). Type: "netsh winsock reset" (without the quotes) and press enter. Then reboot your computer. Command prompt can be found in Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. To run as an administrator simply right click the icon and select "Run as administrator"

You don't have to "renew" your account. If your talking about getting back your account because Nexon has banned it, then you have to wait about a month or longer. Run back to the Dark Lord and give him the Black Charm - in exchange he'll hand

you a Necklace of Strength. Yes it's shiny. No you can't keep it for yourself.

Head back to El Nath and give the shiny necklace to Arec (sometimes you've

got to let go...). Mosey over to Sharp Cliff II, where you'll find the

Hidden Street, Holy Ground at the Snowfield. You'll need a refined Dark

Crystal Ore to even have a shot at answering the questions the giant black

crystal thing will throw at you. After answering the 5, usually ridiculously

easy questions, you'll get a Necklace of Wisdom (don't even THINK about keeping

it). Return to Arec and (grudgingly) hand it over.

Poof.

You're a hermit! Along with the one SP you'll get a new set of clothing, etc.
