No, absolutely not. There are few rock bands that claim to be Satanists, and Rush is not one of them. As the woman who discovered them, I have known them for years and while they are skeptical about organized religion, they are very ethical and compassionate people with no allegiance to satan. Sadly, an internet rumor, originally started by a Christian evangelist in the 1980s and later spread online, tried to claim the band-members worshiped the devil; but this is total nonsense, started by someone who believed rock music was diabolical, and wanted to smear the people who perform it.

Practically any famous rock band you can think of does NOT worship the devil or have anything to do with Satanism. The idea that lots of rock bands are Satanists or devil worshippers is a total myth, created by ignorant people who don't know anything about rock music at all.

Adam Levine hasn't confirmed or denied it. He did say he likes to instigate rumors just to get people talking whether it's true or not. So no one knows for sure.
