Mistborn

In the Mistborn series, allomancers are individuals who possess the ability to burn or metabolize certain metals in their bodies to gain various supernatural abilities, such as enhanced strength, speed, or emotional manipulation. These abilities are derived from the consumption and "burning" of specific metals, with each allomancer typically having an affinity for one particular metal.

The skaa are a oppressed lower class group of people in the Mistborn series, ruled by a noble elite. They are treated as second-class citizens, forced to perform manual labor and subjected to harsh treatment. The series follows their struggle for freedom and equality.

The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson consists of three books in the original trilogy: "Mistborn: The Final Empire," "Mistborn: The Well of Ascension," and "Mistborn: The Hero of Ages." There are also additional books and novellas set in the same world.

They were used for pushing so the mistborn could propel themselves into the air.

The Hemalurgic power is what is used to create Inquisitors, Koloss and Kandra. With this power metal can be used to steal allomantic powers or human abilities (eg. strength, senses). If that metal becomes a part of your body it gives you that stolen power and, once removed, that power is gone.

The Koloss were once human until certain metal spikes are put into their bodies (mainly iron for strength). This also puts them under Ruin's control, as he can influence anyone with metal in their bodies.

Kelsier was charismatic, witty, and daring, with a strong sense of justice and a rebellious spirit. He was a natural leader who inspired loyalty and admiration in those around him. He could also be impulsive and prone to taking risks to achieve his goals.

Clubs was able to burn copper, which allowed him to hide other allomancers around him from being discovered.

Vin used a multitude of weapons throughout the trilogy. The most common weapon she used were glass daggers and coins. On occasion she also used staffs, swords, Koloss swords, window glass, a belt buckle, lanterns and body armor to name a few.

The mists weren't actually killing anyone. They way I took it, it was Ruin killing a percentage of the people who became ill to "balance" preservation turning them into mistings.

The first time i read through them i didnt notice anything at all. It was only once i learned that brandon sanderson was mormon and a little bit about mormonism in general that i could see some influences. but you really shouldnt let it color your understanding of his books. he never preaches or anything. in fact in the stormlight archive he makes some great points for atheism lol. These are simply fantasy stories that do deal with some in-world religious themes but definitely not trying to convert anyone or anything like that.
