I suggest you get a quote so you would know the real value of your phone.
International Mobile Telecommunications-2000 (IMT-2000), better known as 3G or 3rd Generation, is a family of standards for mobile telecommunications fulfilling specifications by the International Telecommunication Union,[1] which includes UMTS, and CDMA2000 as well as the non-mobile wireless standards DECT and WiMAX. While the GSM EDGE standard also fulfils the IMT-2000 specification, EDGE phones are typically not branded 3G. Services include wide-area wireless voice telephone, video calls, and wireless data, all in a mobile environment. Compared to 2G and 2.5G services, 3G allows simultaneous use of speech and data services and higher data rates (at least 200 kbit/s peak bit rate to fulfill to IMT-2000 specification). Today's 3G systems can offer practice of up to 14.0 Mbit/s on the downlink and 5.8 Mbit/s on the uplink.
What is the average price for a used iphone 2g?
This price will completely vary based on who you are purchasing this from (second hand) online. The 2G original iPhone is not for sale in stores anymore, for it is six years obsolete. If you are not purchasing this phone as a collector's item, I would highly recommend purchaing a more usable iPhone like an iPhone 4 which you can get for free on a contract or $549 without.
What is the different of Apple iPhone 3g and china iPhone 3g?
Alrite. First of all,China does not have iPhone 3g..it is most likely a fake clone iPhone that is freaking slow..The only china city that sells the actual iPhone is Shanghai..it is exactly like the American iPhone 3g,but it is slower
What is the meaning of a 2G spectrum?
It is a term used in the telecommunication sector. It is a spectrum that supports 2G technology. High bandwidth is required for this purpose.
"2G" means second-generation wireless telephone technology. 2G cellular telecom networks were commercially launched on the GSM standard in Finland in 1991.
"G" has been superseded by newer technologies, such as 2.5G, 2.75G, 3G, and 4G; however, 2G networks are still used in many parts of the world.
There are three primary benefits of 2G networks over their predecessors: phone conversations were digitally encrypted; 2G systems were significantly more efficient on the spectrum allowing for far greater mobile phone penetration levels; and 2G introduced data services for mobile, starting with SMS text messages.
The first iPhone (2007) is referred to as the iPhone 2G.
Although Apple just called it iPhone.
The Iphone 3g is worth buying because it has alot of cool features like you can talk on the phone and download music off your phone form the itunes store on the phone and you don't have use the computer and you can buy all the apps you want for free and you don't hane to use a credit card.
Does iPhone 2g have app store?
The phone must be ugraded to the latest version of the iPhone OS, 2.2 or above. Then one will have access to the app store.
no, and there are different types of 3G, one would be UMTS for GSM phones. GSM phones are the ones that take SIM cards or smartchips (same thing) the other form of 3G is EVDO which CDMA/TDMA phones can use, these phones cant take SIM Cards most carriers have phones that have 3G capibillities, and usually offer 3G service only in metropolitan areas.
Do you have to pay for 4g if you have a 4g enabled phone?
If its a contract then yes you will have to pay for the use of 4G I think but I'm not entirely sure
---3G Network--- The third generation (3G) network provides very fast data access to the phones. You should be able to enjoy stream audio/video contents on a 3G mobile phone. But the availability of 3G phones and services is still limited. For PDAs, the story is much simpler. Unlike mobile phones, PDAs do not require subscription-based network services. They are standalone minicomputers, pretty much like PCs before the internet.
How do you get 3g internet on iPod Touch?
The iPod Touch can only access the internet over a Wi-Fi connection, however u can set up your mobile phone to transmit the incoming 3G signal into an outgoing Wi-Fi hotspot for iPod Touch. Essentially, u then have a Wi-Fi hotspot anywhere your phone and your iPod Touch both are.
When did the iPhone 2g come out?
i think in September or November last year but im not sure but im for sure that it came out in 2008

The maximum speed is 2.4 Megabits per second on the download link and 153.6 kilobits per second on the upload link.
It has not been clearly specified which data rates the 3G connection has to provide, but it has to be at least 200 kb/s. However, most of the providers at least offer 384 kb/s and many providers advertise with 2 mb/s.
What is the difference between 2g and 3g sim cards?
first of all, its not hard to understand, you'll just have to imagine how data flows in the air, in what way, and how fast.
1G is the first generation celullar network that existed in 1980s. It transfer data (only voice) in analog wave, it has limitation because there are no encryption, the sound quality is poor and the speed of transfer is only at 9.6kbps. IT IS STILL IN USE in some country by police, taxi cabs, telephone company.
2G is the second one, improved by introducing the concept of digital modulation- which means converting the voice(only) into digital code(in your phone) and then into analog signals(imagine that it flys in the air). Being digital, they overcame some of the limitations of 1G, such as it omits the radio power from handsets making life more healthier, and it has enhanced privacy
There are 2.5G, which is a transition of 2G and 3G. In 2.5G, the most popular services is the SMS (short messaging service). Of course there are something else like GPRS, EDGE, High Speed Circuit switched data, and more.
For 3G, imagine 2000+kpbs data rates, its not only voice and simple data(message) that be transmit, services such as downloading, video calls, mobile TV, mobile Internet are available.
What is the difference between 2g and 3g technology?
2G is the GSM specification used to enhance the mobile whereas 3G communications is used for mobile users to have communication over voice with added Multimedia Applications with proportionate speed as well..,http://bit.ly/ouNC5C
First, about cellular generations. Having worked in the industry for a while, I have a narrower view what 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, etc. mean. First 1G service was based on a TDM voice infrastructure -- built around class x switches and 64 kbps slots. It had data, but circuit switched over a 64Kpbs voice bearer.
Second, 2G service had the same switched TDM backbone, but added a true Data Bearer and a digital voice bearer. Data rates were still limited to the max 64kbps of a single time slot.
2.5G added a packet bearer to the mix, still limited to 64kbps slots.
Third generation (3G) changed the backbone slightly to allow a full T1 or E1 or J1 to be consumed by a data sub-scriber, but is still based on an ISDN style backbone. Sure you have packet switched data, but its carried over a traditional TDM backbone. There still a circuit voice backbone and while the data rates are high enough for VoIP, the latency of the data service is to great to base all of the "bearer services" on it, so you still have circuit voice, circuit data and packet data bearers.
Finally, 4G systems will utilize a packet infrastructure rather than a traditional telephone architecture. Services will be horizontally layered on top of a proper low latency, QoS enabled packet switch (read IP) infrastructure. Gone will be the circuit voice and circuit data bearers.
So "G" has more to do with the infra-structure and less to do with the data rates. The data rates over the air are driven by the organization of the infrastructure and other than that have little to do with what generation they are.
What is the difference between a 4g phone and 2g phone?
A 1G Phone supports just the facility of voice calls in really low quality and an internet speed that won't be enough to even load Google in a feature phone.
Wheras, 2G Phone is the successor of 1G and it has improved network voice quality over voice calls, improved bandwidth speed and the facility of MMS and video streaming and many other minor features.
What is 3G mobile and what are the features supported by 3G?
3G literally stands for 3rd Generation, it's the 3rd generation of Mobile Telephony with faster data transfer speeds and other features.
3G services have just come to India and there are a lot of reasons why you should go for them. Apart from giving you fast data speeds and swift internet, they make sure you don't have to wait for your favourite videos to buffer and lets you have fun at work and let you work from out of office.
With online games and TV services now on the phone, there won't be a minute of boredom.

Why is the cydia on your iPod touch 2g not working?
Ok
This could be a bunch of things
to fix jailbreaking apps taht wont remove install funbox
1) Itunes had an update with firmware 4.2.1 that makes a 4.3 or 4.3.3 SHSH witch means it hidden so it fixes bugs in 4.2.1 so u cant use apps that require 4.3 and so on so when you use green poision it dosent set up for 4.3 it sets up for 4.2.1 so i would say reinstall greenpoision and try again by removing the apps with funbox
2) your dl with greenpoision and been infected up some way and if your running Vista/7 run as admin
3) Make sure you extract with winrar
4) FULLY CHARGE your ipod
If these donot work please connect to your wifi and go on your web browser and google jailbreakme.com or somthing like that and itll install cydia for you
i had the same problem and what i did was resotred it and reinstalled a new firmware taht was 4.2.1 that was not patched
4G phone means that it is enabled to run on a 4G network and can handle the highspeed internet available over the 4G network.
If you are thinking what's a 4G Network then it means a network that can offers not only phone connectivity but also a HI SPEED data connectivity with speeds similar to a DSL or Broadband network. It is in other others a big WI-FI network.
4G enabled phones will be as good for browing an internet as a normal computer and will even try to replace computers for everyday surfing and otherwise uses.
It's the 3rd generation. It refers to Wi-Fi or internet connection. 3G is faster than 2G and a 4G had recently been released in China which is faster than 3G.
It finds applications in wireless voice telephony, mobile Internet access, Fixed Wireless Internet access, video calls and mobile TV.
