Can you raise a moose?

You can raise any animal, but if you are asking if it's a reasonably easy animal to raise and contain, the answer is no. Many people who have not seen a live moose mistakenly think it's not that large -- rather like an elk. They are, in fact, massive animals that can stand up to 7' at the shoulder and weight 1,500 pounds. They can be very aggressive if they feel threatened. A charging moose is extremely dangerous and can flip a car. They can also jump surprisingly high (a popular online video shows a moose leaping over a car). Thus, they would be very hard to contain. It would not really be feasible to try to domesticate a moose.

Answer 2:

As mentioned above, a moose is not an animal to be contained nor domesticated like horses or cattle, or even the less wilder versions of elk and bison. You can raise it, but only as a young baby. After it reaches maturity or a ta point in its life that it no longer needs the care that you provide, you have no choice but to let it go back to the wild. Hopefully you are wise enough to know to raise it so that it knows it's a moose and not a human, and pose harm to other humans that it comes across, particularly during mating season!!
