Ca Plane Pour Moi by Plastic Bertrand
Christmas Vacation was largely filmed on a backlot at Warner Bros Studios.
Anthony Michael Hall, who played Rusty in the first film, didn't want to reprise the role in European Vacation, largely because he had been offered one of the lead roles in Weird Science at the time.
It was therefore necessary to recast Rusty, and the filmmakers felt it would be more appropriate to recast both kids. They continued this with the third and fourth films, making a joke of it ("I hardly even recognize you kids anymore!").
He overhears Clark talking about not getting his Christmas bonus and Clark is spattering about all of the things he would tell his boss, Frank, if he were there.
Instead of saying Grace, Aunt Bethany recites the Pledge of Allegiance.
