New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints haven't been to the Super Bowl yet because of many problems the players had to work on over these past couple of years. There were poblems with the offense and then problems with the defense, but now that they are clearing these problems up, they are looking (along with their fans) to be in their first championship game.

New Orleans won division titles in the NFC West in 1991 and 2000. In 2002, the Saints moved to the newly created NFC South, and won division titles there in 2006 and 2009.

The head coach, Sean Payton, has a salary of 8 million. Assistant coaches make a fraction of that, but are still paid very well.

The Boston Red Sox 2003 record was 95 wins and 67 losses. They finished second in the AL Eastern Division.

The first New Orleans Saints season game against the Los Angles Rams in 1967 began with an opening kickoff return of 94 yards by John Gilliam resulting in a touchdown. However, the Saints did not win this game and the score was 27-13. The Saints played the Los Angeles Rams at Tulane Stadium.

Difficult to say there are a few contenders. Pierre Thomas is a great threat when fit, Mark Ingram who was a 1 round pick of the 2011 draft. Then we have Darren Sproles who we brought in from San Diego to relplace Reggie Bush and not to forget Chris Ivory who had a great rushing average last season.

Yes. On October 18th, 2009 the New Orleans Saints beat the previously undefeated New York Giants 48-27.

Through the 2008 season, that was January 13, 2007 in the NFC Divisional Playoff round. The Saints defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 27-24.
