The Responsorial Psalm in Catholic liturgy is usually taken from the Book of Psalms in the Bible. It is a key part of the Liturgy of the Word and is meant to be a sung or recited response to the first reading, helping to highlight and reflect on its themes.

The successors to the apostles are the current Bishops and Pope.

The Bible describes the castles and palaces of kings but it does not give a complete description of a rich persons house. When rich persons wanted to reach Jesus for some reason, they had to leave their homes and ride a good distance in order to see him since they lived in areas away from the poor.

Psalm 23:

Psa 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

The people of Sodom and Gomorrah only had pure evil in their hearts, and lusted after "strange flesh". Not limited to just homosexuality, but also bestiality, necrophilia, gang rape of both sexes etc.. Virtually anything that's totally disgusting from a sexual point of view, without remorse.

The last prophet in the Bible is traditionally considered to be John the Apostle, who authored the Book of Revelation. He is also known as John of Patmos and is believed to have been exiled to the island of Patmos when he received the visions that are recorded in the Book of Revelation.

Rachel and Rebecca were prominent women in the Old Testament. Rachel was the second wife of Jacob and the mother of Joseph and Benjamin, while Rebecca was the wife of Isaac and the mother of Esau and Jacob. Both women played significant roles in the genealogy and narratives of the Israelite patriarchs.

Esau was Jacob's twin brother. They were Shemites. The Jewish race wasn't officially Jewish until Jacob had his 12 sons which are the forefathers of all Jewish people of the 12 tribes of Israel, as they were once divided into, until the dispersion. As Esau was Jacobs brother, they had the same father, Isaac, which was the son of Abraham. At this point they were Shemites, the common relative of most people of the middleast region. The people that stemmed from Esau are called the Edomites, and considered as a distinct and different group or race of people as the Jews were, and are.

Moses brought none at all. When Noah saw that, he said "This will never do!", and brought in two elephants.

The phrase "the spirit is subject to the prophet" is found in 1 Corinthians 14:32 in the Bible. While at first guess many would choose Isaiah...Isaiah might be the most quoted but not the most mentioned. Christ and the Apostles made frequent reference to Elijah. No other prophet is mentioned so frequently in the New Testament as Elijah. He occupies a highly significant place in the history of redemption.

Also, since Elijah's ministry was limited to the kingdom of Israel, you will not find any accounts of Elijah in the Chronicles.

The last testament is known as the New Testament in the Christian Bible. It comprises the books of the Bible that recount the teachings of Jesus Christ and the early Christian church.

The term "Gentiles" generally refers to non-Jewish people or nations. In biblical context, the Gentiles were considered outsiders to the Israelite community and were not part of the twelve tribes of Israel. They were seen as separate from the chosen people of God.

The Old Testament books that tell us about the monarchy of Israel include 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, and 2 Kings. The Hispanic community of Mexico and South America comes from two or three different sources. Much of the original people of Mexico and South America are from Native American tribes that lived there. This includes the Incas and Mayans that dominated the area. Many of the descendants still show the features of these two peoples. There were other tribes that were spread through out the region ( some still exist). When the Spanish invaded and enslaved the people they took native women as wives and slaves. However, the Authorized Bible versions don't mention a name for Joshua's wife or wives. ----
