Why did Moses' hair became white when he saw the burning bush?
It didn't.
During the encounter with the 'burning bush', the Bible does not say that Moses' hair turned white....but his HAND did. When he saw the 'burning bush', he 'concealed his face', but nothing is mentioned about his hair.(Exodus 3:1-6). As God spoke to Moses, explaining what was expected of him in Egypt, he demonstrated his power by turning Moses' hand 'white as snow' with leprosy, and then healing it again(Exodus 4:6-7).
Later, when Moses received the 'two tablets' with the ten commandments on them from God, his 'face emitted rays'(Exodus 34:29+30), but, again, nothing is mentioned about his 'hair turning white'. Only in the movie is this indicated, probably to make the point about the 'rays' lighting him up, but that's more 'artistic license' than factual.

The explanation is that myths evolve in such a way that there remains a connection from one story to another, but each story necessarily develops its own elements in order to satisfy the audience. Once we move on from the story of Adam and Eve, it is no longer relevant that there should be no one else in the world. Cain and Abel moved in a world where there were other people, some of whom Cain feared and some of whom helped him build thecity of Enoch (Genesis 4:17).

Who told David that he was not the one to build the temple?
One thought:
God told the prophet Nathan that David would not be the one to build God’s temple(1 Chronicles 17:3+4), and Nathan told David. As a ‘man of war’ David was not allowed to build the temple (1 Chronicles 22:8/1 Kings 5:2-18), but as a man of peace, the job would be left to his son, Solomon(1 Kings 8:19/1 Chronicles 17:11-15)who pre-figured (or pictured) the ultimate ‘son of David’ , the Messiah (Luke 1:32/1 Chronicles 17:11-14/Acts 13:3/Mark 1:11) who’s kingship (on David’s throne) would be peaceful eternally(Isaiah 9:7/Psalm 132:11/Romans 1:3/Isaiah 11:10/Romans 15:12). Though David was not allowed to build the temple, he was the one who drew up the plans, supplied much of it’s building material, and wrote many of the Psalms to be used as it’s music for worship (1 Chronicles 28:19/1Chronicles 29:2).

What sense is hebrews critical of old testament religion?
The Book of Hebrews was written to Hebrew people who for the most part had accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but because of persecution were contemplating going back to Judaism.
The writer of Hebrews takes them through a series of contrasts between being a follower of Jesus and having eternal life, verses, going back to Judaism and the law and ending up with nothing.
A true believer in Jesus will have eternal life after death, but if theydon't follow Him but at a distance, they will not grow or receive blessings, receive crowns or lay up treasure in heaven. In short they will enter heaven by the skin of their teeth. And their life will end miserably,( this is a once saved, always saved idea, but their is a very fineline to be seen).and if an unbeliever is thinking about following Jesus, but turns back from that idea, their chances for salvation is very, very slim.
Hebrews basically is saying, "Why do you want to go back into bondage to the Law, when Jesus Christ is offering you every thing? Jesus is superior in every way to what is in the Law.
Jewish people will argue and argue, but Christianity is an extension of Judaism.
Jews and Christians believe in the same God. The Jewish people are looking for the Messiah, but missed Jesus Christ when He came the first time. Christians are following Jesus Christ, the Messiah since He was on earth the first time. The Bible tells us that the Jewish people will recognize Jesus Christ at His Second Coming and will accept Him then as Messiah. This is the criticism in Hebrews.
