1) Use forceps to remove the poppy seeds

NO, it cannot. THC comes from the cannabis plant not any opiate plant, ie poppy seeds. You would test positive for opiates after ingesting poppy seeds, not THC.

Please dont snort poppy seeds my friend. I'm assuming you live in the US or in a country where fresh poppies are not available… the seeds you buy at the store do have some amount of the active opiod chemicals on them. If you are dead set on snorting them then find a poppy seed tea recipe and then instead of drinking the liquid at the end then boil it down until there is virtually no liquid left in the pan. The leftover gunk can be scraped and snorted and with produce opiate like sensations.

Personally I just make the tea by first bringing water to a boil then when it starts to bubble I remove it from the heat. Add the juice of about half a lemon to add acidity then pour in the poppies. Let them soak for 20 to 30 minutes and then strain them through some sort of cloth strainer… a t shirt will work fine. make sure you squeeze as much liquid as possible out of the seeds and cloth.

Your dosage will vary so please read other people's experiences with making the tea first to decide how many grams of poppy seeds you should use and so on. I use about 1 pound of seeds and 2 cups of water personally.

And finally, coming back to the whole don't snort them thing… You don't gain any extra extraction of chemicals from the seed by grinding them. Think of the physical properties of the things you are separating... Iron filings are ferromagnetic---they can be attracted by a magnet. Salt, poppy seeds, and sand are not. Salt is soluble in water---if placed in water the salt crystals will break up into soluble Na+ and Cl- ions. Not sure where to go with sand and poppy seeds except to suggest that a poppy seed is probably 4-5 times bigger than a grain of sand. Assuming that is true, you could use the following procedure: 1. Pour the mixture over a strong magnet. All the components except the iron filings should pass right over the magnet while the filings will be stuck to the magnet. 2. Dissolve the remaining mixture in water. Filter out all the solid that does not dissolve and dry it. 3. Find a mesh with holes large enough for the sand to fit through but too small for the poppy seeds to fit through. Run the mixture through the mesh.
