Rune Factory (video game)

Most if not all the characters have now been released.

Main Characters:

These are the two characters you choose between to play as when you first start the game. They have default names but you can change them if you like.

-Lest the male MC. If you play as him he becomes a temporary prince of Selphia. He does not mind being put in this position of royalty.

-Frey the female MC. If you play as her she becomes a temporary princess of Selphia. She is hesitant about her new role.

Villagers:

These are the characters who live in the same town as you. They are not marriageable but are still very important to the game.

-Volkanon. He is the head butler and serves a dragon named Selzhauide/Ventuswill. Volkanon can get emotional at times.

-Jones. He is the town doctor and is happily married to his wife Nancy. Even though he is a doctor he has a fear of blood.

-Nancy. She works as a nurse with her husband in the town doctor's office. She loves having people to chat with.

-Illuminator/Illuminata. She is a detective. She came to this town and has a role in a case that occurs there. She runs the town's flower store.

-Pico. A young girl ghost who is attached to Dolce, haunting her. She is very mysterious and mischievous.

-Ling Hua/Rinfa/Lin Fa. She is the mother of Xiao Pai. She comes from the east and runs the inn and bath house. She is a warm person who seems to have a lot of good luck, despite the many mistakes she makes.

-Blossom. She is an elderly lady who runs the general store. She has poor health most of the time and will go to the doctor's office occasionally. However since Doug arrived, and began helping her, her health has improved.

-Bado. He is the town blacksmith. He does not have much of a passion for the job and seems to only do it in order to make money. He is obsessed with get rich quick schemes, which always fail.

-Pokorinu/Porcoline. He is from the famous de Sainte-Coquille family. He runs a restaurant in town and loves food. He is an eccentric but very kind and generous man.

-Selzhauide/Ventuswill. She is a female dragon that is the protector of Selphia. She seems to be the one who appoints Lest/Frey as royalty.

Bachelorettes:

These are the characters you can choose from to marry if you play as the male main character.

-Margret/Margaret. She is an elf and works as a musician. She plays in the town restaurant and has a fear of heights.

-Kohaku/Amber. She starts as a butterfly like boss monster named Ambrosia in one of the dungeons. After you defeat her she changes into a humanoid form and moves into the town. She works in a flower shop and dislikes bugs. She is childlike, and retains her butterfly wings and antennae, though these are hidden until she uses them.

-Dolce. She starts as a puppet like boss monster named Marionetta in one of the dungeons. After you defeat her she changes into a humanoid form and moves into the town. She likes goth things and can be sarcastic. Dolce close to a young girl named Pico.

-Xiao Pai. She is a human. She is also a foreigner from the east. She lives with her mother and cares about her a lot. She helps run the town inn and bathhouse. She is curious and hard working.

-Forte: She is human. She works as a knight who is there to help Lest/Frey. She is very serious about her job. Forte can also be stubborn. She is very close to her young brother Kiel.

-Chlorica/Clorica. She moved to this town in order to train to become a butler. She cares about her work but will sometimes nod off. She can fall asleep while standing, and has been known to cook and clean while asleep too. She is human.

Bachelors:

These are the characters you can choose from for marriage if you play as the female main character.

-Bishnal/Vishnal. He is a butler in training. He is very passionate about his work. He helps with training the main character to be a proper prince/princess. He is gullible. He is human.

-Dirus/Dylas. He starts as an unicorn like boss monster named Raiden/Lightning in one of the dungeons. After you defeat him he changes into a humanoid form and moves into the town. He seems to have a crotchety personality, but part of it is his shyness. He doesn't like to talk much. He does seem to like fishing, and loves carrots.

-Arthur. The 'true' prince, who you get mistaken for at the beginning of the game, but who lets you govern believing it to be an act of fate. He is in the business of trading and is an expert in his field. He came to this town for unclear reasons. He is always carrying around an odd shaped book. He is human.

-Kiel. He is a young man who likes gossip and reading. He is kind and likes to feel needed. He is human. He is Forte's younger brother.

-Dagu/Doug. He works in the town general store. He loves to eat and can eat a lot. He is hotblooded and a zealous type of guy. He is not human, he is a dwarf.

-Leon. He starts as an Anubis like boss monster named "mysterious monster" (or Sarcophagus) in one of the dungeons. After you defeat him he changes into a humanoid form and moves into the town. Leon likes to tease serious people. However he cares a lot about the needs of others. He carries a feather fan around.
