Three hundred forty-three firemen were lost in the collapse of the Twin Towers. As per research, those lost at the Pentagon were mostly civilian contractors - no fire department personnel were listed.

Boston, Newark, and D.C. are the locations that the hijacked planes originated from.

Seventy-one port authority officers died as a result of the attacks on the Twin Towers. More have since passed due to the illness caused in the rescue attempts.

The attacks of 9/11 were two airplanes the hit the Twin Towers, a third that collided with the Pentagon, and the last was commandeered by the passengers at the last moment saving hundreds if not thousands of others.

Records reflect that 5 hijackers were assigned to each plane on 9/11.

the 4th plane on September 11th 2001 United Airlines flight 93 was hijacked by 4 hijackers the passenger's found out about the twin tower crashes and the pentagon now their plane was hijacked. the plane was most likely intended to hit a building in Washington DC, but was taken over by passengers and crash landed in an empty field in Shanksville Pennsylvania. 40 passenger's died and the 4 hijackers died also.
