Don't put it in the washing machine or dryer!
What you want to do is take a wash cloth/towel - soak it in water ( add a little bit of soap if needed) then rub the surface of the stuffed animal until the dirt is gone.
OR
If your stuffed animal needs a really good bath then fill up your sink with luke warm water. Add in soap (the kind you use to wash your clothes) and give it a bath like you would an infant. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER! Let it hang out somewhere in the light/sun to dry.

I got a giant monkey. But if you want to just go for a quick trip to get a stuffed animal (Webkinz) I would go to Bartell Drugs. They have nice Webkinz for a medium nice cost.
