What is the mass at 20 degrees Celsius of five liters of air?

The mass of five liters of air at 20 degrees Celsius can be calculated using the ideal gas law equation (PV = nRT), where P is pressure, V is volume, n is the number of moles, R is the gas constant, and T is temperature in Kelvin. You would need to know the pressure of the air to calculate the mass accurately.

Is burning point chemical property?

Yes, it is. You are SO DUMB.

^^ok, that was REALLY rude of whoever said that...

Yes, it is a chemical property. I had trouble with that too. A way that helps to think about it is a chemical property is anything that would change the chemical makeup should it occur (combustion would. putting a chemical in water would, changing the pH would). Melting and boiling point don't change the chemical makeup (freezing, melting, or boiling mercury doesn't change the fact that it is mercury) but combustion changes the element into something else and produces other elements or observable reactions (if you combusted mercury, it wouldn't be mercury anymore!). I hope that helped!

What is methanols freezing point?

Methanol will freeze at -97 degrees celcius.

What is the boling point of water at 4.7atm?

At 4.7 atm, the boiling point of water is approximately 132.5 degrees Celsius. This is higher than the typical boiling point of water at standard atmospheric pressure (100 degrees Celsius) due to the increased pressure.

What is a sentence for freezing point?

How much is -10 celsius in Fahrenheit?

-10°C = 14°F: -10°C multiplied by 1.8 +32 = 14°F

How much is 280 Celsius in F?

280 degrees Celsius is equal to 536 degrees Fahrenheit.

What happens to water at 0 degrees centigrade?

At 0 degrees Celsius, water freezes and turns into ice. This is the temperature at which water changes from a liquid to a solid state.

Does everything melt and boil at the same time?

You could possibly arrange an experiment for different substances to melt and boil at the same time, but they would not do so at the same temperature.

Different substances have different properties, they do not all melt and boil at the same temperature.

Is a stone wall colder than timber?

Yes, a stone wall tends to feel colder than a timber wall because stone conducts heat more effectively than wood. This means that a stone wall can absorb and release heat more quickly, feeling colder to the touch.

What is the viscosity of water at 3.0 degrees Celsius?

The viscosity of water at 3.0 degrees Celsius is approximately 1.34 cP (centipoise). Viscosity is a measure of a fluid's resistance to flow, and it decreases as temperature increases.

What was lord kelvin contribution?

Lord Kelvin, also known as William Thomson, made significant contributions to the fields of physics and engineering. He formulated the first and second laws of thermodynamics, developed the Kelvin temperature scale, and made important contributions to the understanding of electricity and magnetism. Lord Kelvin's work laid the foundation for modern physics and engineering principles.

What is 22 celsius converted to Fahrenheit?

22 degrees Celsius is equal to 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is 1 colder on the sub zero dial than 7?

Yes, 1 is colder than 7 on a sub-zero dial. The lower the number on the dial, the colder the setting.

How many degrees Fahrenheit is 183 degrees Celsius?

183 degrees Celsius is equal to 361.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

How does a fluid-filled thermometer works?

As the temperature of a fluid increases, its volume increases, and as the temperature decreases, its volume decreases. Since the liquid in a thermometer is in a closed container, the fluid rises when the temperature increases and lowers when the temperature decreases.

What melts at 1300 degrees?

Materials such as aluminum, brass, and bronze typically melt at temperatures around 1300 degrees Fahrenheit.

What is 3.9 degrees Celsius in fahrenheit?

3.9 degrees Celsius is equal to 39.02 degrees Fahrenheit.

What does 85 degrees Celsius convert to?

85 degrees Celsius is equivalent to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.

How does the vapor pressure of water at 10 degrees celsius with its vapor pressure at 50 degrees celsius?

Do you mean, how does the pressure of water vapor at 10˚C compare with its pressure at 50˚C?

The vapor pressure of water is the pressure at which steam is saturated. Above this pressure, the water would begin to condense. In a gas mixture saturated with water vapor, the vapor pressure is equal to the partial pressure. The vapor pressure is a function of temperature. Many equations of state can predict vapor pressures of liquids but the best ones are also rather complex and require considerable expertise to use. For most purposes, there are several simpler empirical equations which can estimate the vapor pressures of liquids with sufficient accuracy for most purposes.

One of the simplest is the Antoine equation which has the form:

log10Pvap = A - B/(C+T) where the Pressure (P) is in mmHg and the Temperature (T) is in °C.

For water in the range from 1 °C to 100 °C, the constants have the values:

A = 8.07131

B = 1730.63

C = 233.426

Using these values, the vapor pressure of water can be estimated as:

Pvap(@10 °C) = 9.158817 mmHg

Pvap(@50 °C) = 92.29989 mmHg

... so the vapor pressure of water at 50 °C is roughly 10 times the vapor pressure at 10 °C.

How would it be possible that there could be high temperature but no heat transfer?

High temperature doesn't necessarily indicate heat transfer if the surrounding environment is at a similar or lower temperature. Heat transfer occurs when there is a temperature difference between objects, causing energy to move from a higher temperature object to a lower temperature one. If the surroundings are not significantly cooler, there may be high temperature but minimal heat transfer.

How do atoms behave a a temperature of -273 degrees celsius?

At -273 degrees Celsius, also known as absolute zero, atoms would stop moving entirely and exhibit minimal energy. This temperature represents the lowest possible energy state for atoms, where they would all be at rest and have no kinetic energy.
