Should you believe in the devil?
First of all, if God exists, it is possible that Satan exists, but if God does not exist, Satan is most unlikely to exist. So, the first question is whether you believe that God exists, remembering that there is no actual evidence that he does.
Satan entered post-Exilic Judaism as the 'adversary' but under the instructions of God, tasked to test the righteousness of the faithful. In the Persian religion, Zoroastrianism, Angra Mainyu is the wholly malign adversary of the Persian god, Ahura Mazda. When this concept was adopted in Judaism after the Babylonian Exile, the Jews struggled with the notion of God having an opponent who could defy him. Deciding that this was not possible, the Jews adapted Satan to do God's bidding by challenging the faithful, as we see in the Book of Job.
In Christianity, Satan evolved to become the evil opponent of God, seeking to cause the faithful to deviate from righteousness and to destroy God's kingdom. Satan continued to evolve throughout much of the Middle Ages, at time as a figure of fun and sometimes with changes in how he exerts his wicked powers. He is now an essential part of Christian belief, but if you did not read about Satan in books you believe to be true you would have no reason to think that he exists. In fact, why should we believe a being exists if we can not even decide whether he helps God or opposes him?

The Illuminati, Satan and our souls are all very real. I have done months and months of research into the Illuminati and who they target and why. First of all they do it for Satan, to contract as many souls as possible for him. So, the artist, whether it be a rapper, rocker, jazz, even some Christian artists, and much more. So, I mean all genre's of music are bullied by Satan. I would have to say that of the music industry has sold their soul to Satan. When they are ready to deal with Satan, there is a contract that is signed in blood. The next thing they know evil spirits are possessing and controlling them. That is just the music industry, I haven't even started talking about the other industries yet.

Saying you made a pledge to the devil is more likely to be meant in irony, as in that you were forced by circumstances to strike a poor bargain.
Only someone who believes the devil exists could think of making a pledge to him, and only a religious person could believe he exists. But such a person also believes that nothing that could ever be offered in this life would be worth an eternal price. In other words, the very notion of pledging one's soul to the devil is no more than a myth. Wikipedia says a deal with the devil is a cultural motif, best exemplified by the legend of Faust.

- Beelzebub is actually a corruption of the name of one of the Canaanite gods, who was properly named "Baal Zebur", meaning "the Lord on High". The corruption was meant as a form of ridicule, since "Baal Zebub" means "the Lord of the Flies".

We now know there are many other worlds -- probably billions of them -- and that at least some of them must be able to support life. However, the residents of other planets in the universe will never have heard about Christianity or Christianity's devil. Satan does not exist there -- even on Earth he only exists in the imaginations of believers.
