An investigative journalist by the name of Mark Newgent from the Baltimore area took the time to track down the legend and put the baby to bed, and all that he could deduce was that most of the "story" was completely fabricated, and that the child in question (identity withheld), was more of a problem child than he was possessed by the forces of evil.
