The Notebook (novel and film)
The Notebook is a romantic novel written by Nicholas Sparks and published in 1996. It was made into a successful film in 2004 starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. It tells the story of an elderly man who reads to his sick wife in a nursing home in a bid to make her remember who he is.
